Born in the heart of Texas and raised in the small farm community of Clovis, New Mexico, Shelly Starks' love for music, especially country music, began taking shape at a young age. What started out as singing on her church pew has merged into a full-blown passion! Now writing and performing her original music, Shelly is incredibly proud of her debut album, "You're Gonna Fly," which was released to astounding reviews in 2009.
Performing with Country music superstars such as Andy Griggs, Jeff Bates, Larry Stewart (Restless Heart), Grammy® winners Sugarland, Bryan White & John Michael Montgomery; Shelly's fan base spans across the United States & has now reached more than 30 countries around the world! Partnering with Grammy® winning producer Ray Barnette, Shelly released her 1st single "To Be A Woman" with a flip side, "Battle Scars" (written by Shelly Starks, Carmen Taylor & Chad Roland) in February of 2012. Both songs released worldwide and immediately started charting on iTunes and Amazon!
